All customer carts are persistent carts in Gahela. When a customer adds a product to the cart it will be there until they remove it. They don't have to register, or enter any data to save their cart and the cart will not be deleted if they leave the site. A cookie on their computer will identify them and when they come back to the site, their cart will be there. It is estimated nearly 24% of customers leave shopping carts with intentions of coming back and making a purchase at a later date. Having the cart with their chosen products immediately available will increase sales and make you money.
Gahela Commerce has an easy to use cart page. On the cart page a customer can store items for later, manage their wishlist items, and email their cart contents to their friends, or to themselves to save for later.
